Hambleton Holdings Inc., Basra, Iraq is constructing 2 nos. 33/11kV GIS substations and 33kV 5km long overhead lines in Basra Oil Company. We entered into a Design services contract with Satcon, India for receiving the full set of electrical, civil, structural, instrumentation, automation, fire protection, emergency DG, air conditioning and ventilation system design, drawings, technical specifications, technical data sheets, inspection data sheets, required document data sheets, various engineering design calculations as per IEC/BS/American standards and Eni Company standards. Satcon performed their duty very diligently, efficiently and great quality. They helped us really to optimise equipment and materials and also helped us in various matters related to site construction. We thank Satcon for their excellent services.
BES, Europe engaged Satcon for Design and Engineering services for renovation of existing 161/33kV substation at Kingtom, Freetown.and 33/11kV Indoor substation at Wellington, Willberforce, Ropoti and Blackhall, 33kV 8km long overhead line drawn on lattice towers in Sierra Leone. They assisted us efficiently in procurement of various equipment, quality control, vendor drawing review and site supervision works. We were very satisfied with their professionalism and high quality of work. All the deliveries included in SATCON’s scope of work were completed in time and met with approval of the Ministry of Energy.
