Testing and Commissioning Services for EHV Substations is an activity carried after the equipment are installed and connected by Power and Control cables. All installed equipment due to prolonged storage at site under severe atmospheric condition may loose some of its insulating or other characteristics. Pre-commissioning testing of all outdoor and indoor equipment are necessary as per relevant standards to check whether the equipment has retained all their thermal, short circuit and insulating properties as per approved data sheets. The equipment can be charged / commissioned only after the pre-commissioning tests are successfully pass by the equipment. Satcon has the capability to depute experienced personnel at site to perform these tests and commission the substation as per the requirement of the Customer.
