Description

Foundation of a Transmission Tower is designed on the basis of the soil investigation report and Technical specification of the Project. The loading data is collected from the structural design calculation of the Transmission tower and the support reaction is used for design of the tower foundation. The foundation can be of isolated footing or common raft or pile foundation type depending on recommendations given at the soil investigation report. The calculation is done either by MS excel or by Staad pro software.
