Due to climate change, the world has started rejecting conventional mode of Power generation through fossil fuel based thermal power plants. The Renewable energy projects are replacing thermal power generation amazingly fast. Solar Power generation is one of the mode of Renewable Power generation which is extremely popular all over the world. The Power generated by the solar photo voltaic plates gets converted to Alternating current in Inverter transformers and the AC power thus converted is fed to the Grid through Pooling substation and Transmission lines.
Satcon is participating in Solar Power Plant evacuation switchyard and transmission line design and engineering with major investors as their direct consultant or through the EPC contractors. Satcon has all design resources in electrical, civil and structural designs to engineer the extra high voltage switchyards and transmission lines upto 400kV range.
