Design and Engineering of Mobile Substation
Many Utilities in the world uses Mobile substations to cater to contingent conditions like sudden outage of a Grid transformer or to meet emergency power supply requirements to communities where distribution network has not reached or the distribution network is under construction and will take some to reach. The mobile substation comprises of an EHV bay (132kV / 110kV etc.) either in AIS or in GIS form with arrangements for receiving overhead conductor, a Power transformer to step down to 33kV or 11kV, an earthing cum auxiliary transformer for LV aux. system, MV switchgear (Indoor AIS or GIS) with outgoing feeder bays, Control and relay panels, Battery, Battery charger, LV aux. DB and lighting / small power systems.

Our services includes sourcing of good manufacturers worldwide, review of offers received from various suppliers, assistance for technical negotiations, vendor drawings review and comments / approvals, Inspection of FAT at manufacturer's works.
