Single line diagram is one of most important drawings of a project which shows the electrical connection between different equipment and devices in one line form. This one line may denote 3 phase or 2 phase or single phase circuit. It shows different switching, controlling and protective devices in the circuit, their normal and short circuit ratings, transformation equipment, their ratings, power cables, their cross sectional sizes.
