Vendor drawing Review, Comments and Approval
An Electrical Substation project utilises several extra high voltage equipment for power delivery, control and protection. The contractor in charge of the turnkey construction of the Substation buys these equipment from manufacturer's of repute. These manufacturers upon receipt of Purchase orders designs and submits the Equipment drawings for Purchaser's review and approval. These drawing are called vendor drawings.
The vendor drawings consist of the following :
1. Single line diagram
2. Dimensional GA drawing of the equipment.
3. Control schematics and wiring diagrams
4. Protection schematics
5. Operation logic diagrams
6. Control terminal plan
7. BOQ of devices
8. Operational philosohpy
